Our tranquil holiday apartments are conveniently located in the town of Velden on the western shore of the Worthersee. This is a great base for exploring the hundreds of lakes in Carinthia, visiting northern Italy, or exploring Slovenia.

Our apartments
We have two apartments available for holiday rental.
Baker’s Pond LOFT offers a 67 m2 open-plan loft apartment with a 25 m2 balcony. It has a king-size bed and a daybed/sofa bed suitable for a child. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and a Nespresso capsule coffee maker. It also offers a lounge suite, television, air-conditioning, and a private bathroom with a shower and toilet. For winter, there is also a cozy wood-fired heater. The LOFT is perfect for couples.
Baker’s Pond TWO family apartment is on the entire second level and provides a 100 m2 accommodation with two 13 m2 balconies. Baker’s Pond TWO features two bedrooms, each with large king-sized beds. One bedroom also has a double bunk bed. There is a fully equipped kitchen connecting to the lounge room with air conditioning. It has a spacious double bathroom with a large bath and a walk-in shower. It will suit up to 5 guests. A spa pool is also available at a daily charge.

Explore Velden
Velden is a vibrant town on the western shore of the Worthersee. Velden has a casino, many cafes and bars, restaurants, and shops. There are good train and bus links, and tourist boats stop at Velden, providing easy access to towns, villages, and attractions around the lake.
Baker’s Pond Apartments are located on the Alpe-Adria hiking trail and the R4 and R4A cycling routes. Our apartments are an 8-minute walk to the center of Velden and Worthersee, and 550 meters walk from supermarkets. There are many tourist attractions within a 30-minute drive. There are also swimming spots and water sports available locally.
